    Acer to Launch New Smartphone on February 16th During MWC

    acer-mwc-invitationAcer has confirmed through press invitations that it intends to launch a new smartphone next month on February 16th during a press event at the Mobile World Congress expo in Barcelona, Spain.  

    Further details are sparse, but Acer is expected to leverage its recent purchase of device developer and manufacturer ETEN, which formerly developed its own line of branded Windows Mobile smartphones for sale primarily in Europe and Asia before its eventual purchase last year.
