Adobe has officially abandoned further development of its iPhone compiler included in its latest CS5 Creative Suite after Apple’s latest change to its developer Terms of Service implicitly prohibited such tools. Apple has tightened its grip on the iPhone platform by explicitly defining which languages can be used in application development. The compiler will still be included in the suite for developers to use, but no further development will take place for the product.
