Alltel Advertisement Introduces LG Glimmer

LGGlimmerFrontA HowardForums user has posted two pictures regarding the introduction of the LG Glimmer for Alltel Wireless.  Specficiations include a large 2.8″ Touch screen, haptic feedback for touchscreen inputs, a numeric slider, microSD expandable memory slot, Bluetooth 1.2, a 2.0 megapixel camera with 5x zoom, a camcorder with flash, EVDO, built-in 128MB of memory, and a 3.5 hour talk time.

There is a rumored release date of March 15th but nothing has been officially announced.

actually the rumored release date is March 13th, as alltel releases new phones only on Thursdays.

Best touch phone from alltel that doesn’t run WM6. Period. My only real complaint is that it has that piece of crap proprietary web browser when all other phones running the new OS have a full HTML browswer. Why the crap for us? That and the stupid LG ascending ring has always been stupid, i don’t know why they haven’t changed it yet.
