Alltel Launches Samsung Wafer and Snap

Alltel has launched both the Samsung R510 “Wafer” and the u340 “Snap”.

The Wafer is a fully packed ultra-thin candybar feature phone with a
1.3 megapixel camera and video recorder, microSD expansion slot, media
player, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo audio support, speaker independent
voice dialing, and support for the Celltop widget system.

The phone has
a retail price of $239.99 with the cost on a new 2 year agreement
coming down to $69.99 after an instant online discount of $170.

The Samsung u340 Snap is a basic clamshell with VGA camera, monochrome
external display, speakerphone and voice dialing. The phone is
available for a retail price of $139.99 with a $110 instant online
discount on a new two year agreement bringing the total cost of the
phone to $29.99, not $9.99 as mistakenly presented on the product page.
