Alltel Lists Samsung Delve with TouchWiz UI for Pre-Order, Launches November 6th

Alltel has posted the CDMA version of the GSM Samsung Tocco for pre-order. The Samsung Delve will be the first Samsung handset sold in the US with Samsung’s TouchWiz widget-oriented user interface.

The complete featureset of the device consists of a 3 inch widescreen WQVGA resolution touch display, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, media player, voice dialing, voice control, speakerphone, and microSDHC expansion slot.  Contrary to what has been reported elsewhere, the device will not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, and instead will utilize a 2.5mm headset jack. 

The device is now up for pre-order on ShopAlltel.com for $299.99 with new 2 year agreement and $100 instant online discount before an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $199.99 with the retail and online launch set for November 6th.
