I opened up a book I am also eading on my Kindle ofr PC and Kindle for iPhone, and it synced right away to the page I was on on my desktop. I'll tell you, if Apple does not come up with a slimmed down versoin of iBooks so that I can read the same book on an iPad and my iPhone with the synching capability of Kindle Whispersync, that would be tragic.
