Apple has issued updates for all three of their Mac OS X-powered mobile devices. iPhone OS 2.0.1 makes several undocumented bug fixes, and is now available on iTunes for updating.

To update your iPhone or iPod, open iTunes and select your device from the left column. Then, click the Check for Updates… button. Note that iPod touch users will not see the update unless they have purchased the 2.0 software upgrade for $9.99 first.

Apple has not commented as to if this will fix the most nagging issues of iPhone OS 2.0. Namely, extremely long delays when installing apps and syncing, as well as general widespread issues with the App Store. Also unclear is if this update solves issues with Apple’s MobileMe not pushing properly.
