AT&T Delays MediaFLO Launch to 1Q 2008

Reuters is reporting that AT&T has delayed the launch of MediaFLO mobile television services on its network until the first quarter of 2008 due to “fine-tuning” in a statement given by spokesman Mark Siegel with no specific details given on the changes being made.

As we previously reported in February, AT&T chose Qualcomm’s MediaFLO platform to deliver mobile television services, with compatible phones and devices now launching in the same timeframe next year instead of the speculated Fall launch.
