  • AT&T Launches Mobile Backup Service

    AT&T has launched its own wireless backup service for its
    customers. Called AT&T Mobile Backup, the service backs up
    contact information via a Java application download with timed or
    manual backup on a compatible handset or through a dedicated webpage to
    secure servers for management of contact information. The service costs
    $1.99 a month, plus any additional data transfer charges for the
    application download on the handset.
