AT&T Launches Option Quicksilver USBConnect Modem

AT&T has launched the Option Quicksilver USBConnect modem.

The modem features quadband GSM/EDGE and triband UMTS/HSPA access with a unique swiveling design that is designed to fit around many cramped spaces while also tucking away the modem for damage prevention.  It also features automatic client installation on Windows systems and Mac OS X support through a separate client download.

The modem is now available for $249.99 with No Commitment, or $100 with new 2 year agreement and qualifying LaptopConnect plan with an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total cost to free on contract.
