“By using Apple’s iPhone Configuration Utility, and then emailing yourself a configuration with the change back to wap.cingular, service appears to continue working.”

I am a prepaid iPhone user and AT&T cut off my gophone data plan and I need to change back to wap.cingular using Apple’s iPhone Configuration Utility but I have never used it before. Any help on how I would go about doing this? Thank you.

The link the in the article will walk you through it step-by-step. There’s also a web page on that link, which you can use right from your iPhone to do the patch. You don’t even need a computer or iTunes for the workaround.
