		<description>EV-DO and WiMAX really are separate deployments. Having EV-DO does help pave the way for WiMAX since there&#039;s a backhaul upgrade... but it&#039;s actually just a small upgrade compared to the bandwidth that WiMAX requires.

Do not expect EV-DO and WiMAX deployments to happen in 1xRTT areas simultaneously. You should only expect to see WiMAX in metropolitan areas that already have saturated EV-DO coverage.</description>
