Apple Touch Icon Deployed

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, and add PhoneNews.com to your home screen as a WebClip, you’ll now get this nice icon below:

This will replace your standard icon (which is a glossy-version of the page you were looking at).

And, in case you haven’t read about WebClips 50,000 times by now, you can also add this type of effect to your own site. The easiest way is to drop a 57×57 pixel PNG file in the root of your web site, and call it apple-touch-display.png
