Catching Up…

Some of you are probably asking “where are the giveaways?” or “where is the news?” or a combination of the two. Let’s rewind to Friday, circa 1 AM.

First Comcast had a regional failure that lasted six hours. This was right when we were uploading the new giveaway. Later that day, a MacBook failed in four different ways… to the point Leopard wouldn’t even install on it.

Today, I battled traffic delivering delivering the MacBook to Apple. Oh, and we had to then move on to migrating the blog to WordPress.

So, you can (once again) thank Comcast for the world’s troubles. We’ll be picking up the pieces through the weekend.

So we are blaming Comcast for a dead macbook?

Of course not… Comcast went down during the time we were posting articles. By the time they got their services back online, we had turn our attention to computers that were blowing up.

We are blaming Comcast however for the lack of service that prevented reporting to you at our usual, stellar, best-in-the-industry rate.

In case you haven’t noticed, we’re taking pot shots at Comcast whenever relevant thanks to their blatant blocking of BitTorrent traffic (as well as lying about it to the public).
