We were offline for a few hours today, it was due to a server-side error… and the server folks forgetting to switch the site back on after fixing it. Sorry about that, we were on the phone as soon as we noticed it.

Thanks to our recent Knowledge Base upgrades, we’ve switched to nifty new Search Engine Friendly URLs. Old URLs will work just fine however. This will pave the way for even newer, more-nifty additions down the road.

We’re currently updating the Knowledge Base from MediaWiki 1.6.9 all the way up to 1.9.0. This is a time-consuming process, as we have to upgrade from 1.6.8 to 1.7, to 1.8, finally to 1.9 in order to parse the necessary database changes properly. So Cingular has blown a good $10 billion round-trip to go from AT&T Wireless, to Cingular, to “Wireless from AT&T”. With everything else in AT&T branded with the service after name, don’t be shocked if “Wireless from AT&T” slowly turns into AT&T Wireless.
