I’m happy to report that Joomla 1.5 has added legacy backlinks! This was the most critical issue in Joomla’s development, and it’s a great way to start the end of my vacation. I will be on vacation until the end of the month. About all you’ll see from me until then, are reviews for phones we’ve already received. Continuing coverage will be in the capable hands of the rest of the staff until then.

Guess what happened today? The folks at InMotion Hosting called. Apparently they no longer want us using their bait-and-switch low-cost hosting, and made us change servers.
And, on this fourth server move in less than a month (yes, all on the same host)… guess what we had to do? Open more support tickets! Our PHP settings [...]

Aparrently people want us to review the RAZR2. We’ve had these all in the office since last week. Not to brag, just worthy of pointing out that every carrier has sent us every RAZR2 released in the U.S. We’ll get to reviewing them in the next week… or two.

Today is shaping up to be the day we overhaul the Knowledge Base. As if anything else couldn’t delay the the rollout, the MediaWiki team pushed out critical security updates which we, of course, were obligated to deploy.

We’ve just finished updating the forums to IP.Board 2.3.1. The changes in this update are minimal in terms of appearance… but big in terms of speed. The forums are now faster than ever, and now load just as fast as news pages.

We’ve just been given new WAP code for Joomla to put into the site. In case you didn’t notice, we already have xHTML-mobile support for PDAs (and modern phones)… but some phones (like, all of Verizon’s) are still stuck in the WAP 2.0 stone ages.
