Full Page Ads: We like you, we really do

We are indeed starting to roll out full page ads on PhoneNews.com. But, our goal is to make sure you don’t usually see them.

The ads are being deployed in two places: One, on the forums when you aren’t logged in. Register for free, and you’ll never see a full page ad on the Forums.  The other is the Phone Encyclopedia. It will appear there after a few page loads, and you’ll only see it once every 12 hours. This is because the Encyclopedia is now serving files so large, that it is consuming more bandwidth than the rest of PhoneNews.com combined.

The news, reviews, video, and software sections of PhoneNews.com won’t see a full page ad. Hopefully, the bottom won’t fall out of the ad market (more than it already has), and we’ll be able to keep it that way.

We hope you find these ads fair, as we need them to survive. It’s really that simple, if we can’t get money to flow in, we can’t operate. And, as such, we thank you for not using ad blocking software… it’s your viewership that makes this site continue to work every day to bring you the best in wireless news.
