Inadvertently Self-Googing

Nothing ticks me off more than when I try to research something, only to find PhoneNews.com, and many times, my own words, staring right back at me as the top ranking.

Don’t get me wrong, I love that we’re so successful that this is happening, but it is a bit of a drag to find out that there are no more worlds of information to conquer online… about a given topic. This then has me coming to the realization that if I want to get to the bottom of something… it’s going to take poking, prodding, and cold-calling sources and contacts to get you the definitive answer. That’s the real downside of inadvertent self-Googling, when Google’s out of info, getting an answer just got worlds harder.

Anyone have similar experiences of inadvertent self-Googling?
