Introducing Navi to The Encyclopedia

One of the things we have started really focusing on with the Phone Encyclopedia is usability. And, one thing that we’ve found that many have trouble browsing back-and-forth on the Encyclopedia. Granted, the underlying technology doesn’t help us there, so we’ve come up with ways to make it easier.

Most of the browsing trouble comes with users who find the Phone Encyclopedia via a search engine. In other words, they stumble onto some sub-page, and don’t know where to go from there to get more info… so they just leave the site.

To fix this, we’ve added new navigational links to the top of every page. All the main pages and manufacturers have it… and we’ll be expanding it shortly to the phone pages themselves. This will make it easier to see all of PhoneNews.com offers, and to browse through the Encyclopedia itself.
