Knowledge Base 2.0 Beta 1 - Known Issues

We’re hours (okay, maybe 24 to 48 more hours) away from going official with the new Knowledge Base. That said, here are the currently-known issues. Feel free after we make the announcement on the news feed to post more in the comments.

Knowledge Base 2.0 Beta 1 - Known Issues

• Carrier Wiki is not finished, pages do not contain all existing info from the older version of the Knowledge Base. Also, many smaller carriers do not have pages established yet (the links are there… but the pages aren’t there yet).

• When browsing phones by carrier, not all phones are listed. This is part of the development process, it will be fixed as the release is finished.

• Some phone images appear incorrect. This will be fixed as phones are added (our system has countermeasures against typos… unfortunately it isn’t helping the beta stage).

• Compare Phones feature is not available… it is planned for post-beta release.

• Not all phones have images yet. This will be fixed as we complete newer phones.

• Many phone images are oversized. This causes many pages to be distorted. This will be fixed once we have images up for all phones.

• Newer phone pages are incomplete. This is expected as well… we are finishing oldest phones first, so many pages simply contain the information previously available.

• Upcoming phones are not fully listed. We are focusing on released phones, but will build these out when time permits.
