Mobile Ads Deployed

We have begun rolling out mobile ads on the mobile-formatted version of PhoneNews.com. Starting right now, when you go to PhoneNews.com on your phone, you’ll get the news… with a little ad above it.

Having a large mobile user base, we realize some of you think that the mobile version of PhoneNews.com should stay ad-free. However, since rolling out the mobile version of PhoneNews.com, it has quickly become one of the most popular ways to access our news, and as such, we have to pay the server, technical, and design bills to keep it running at the best it can.

At least there aren’t any pop-ups… yet.
