New Look Coming Soon

We’ve started work on a new look and feel for PhoneNews.com. Why the change? A few reasons… first, we’re going to have a new look that will work with Joomla 1.0 and 1.5. Second, the advertising market has changed, and we have to respond to it in order to stay competitive. The good news is, it actually means the ads will take up less space overall… so you’ll actually have more content for less advertising.

We also aren’t happy with the level of SEO that our current look provides, and we want a look that we can eventually deploy on the Phone Encyclopedia, along with the rest of the site. The Phone Encyclopedia is powered by MediaWiki, which is very picky about how look-and-feel gets implemented.
