New & Upcomings for This Week

We have quite a few reviews still to go, this week we’re going to be posting Motorola V9m reviews for Sprint and Verizon, as well as the Motorola Q9m, and a couple of Bluetooth accessories from BlueAnt.

Also this week, we’ll be working on search engine optimization of the PhoneNews.com forums. We’ll be using open code that has a low likelihood of causing problems. Specifically, these updates will add “friendly” URLs to thread titles, improved search engine templates, as well as working Sitemap support (our old sitemap integration failed with the last update).

The Phone Encyclopedia was updated with MediaWiki 1.11.0, so we’re at the latest version there.

Once all that gets done, we’re going to start work on our first newsletter, and picking back up the podcasting torch. And, maybe we’ll get some new videos up too (we’re getting new hardware later this week to enable easier HD video streaming).
