Office Woes

Ceiling caves in? We can deal with that. MacBook Pro gets sick? That’s when things start to grind down. And yes, within the past week, both have happened in the PhoneNews.com offices.

I’m currently on my third re-install, thanks to a nasty bug in TechTool Pro 4.5.3 (it mis-interprets a jHFS+ offset as an improper journaling setup… I am trying to isolate it… but I’ve already been accredited with finding a security hole in TechTool Pro, so no rush there). As it stands right now, opening anything that touches OpenGL takes the app down (I’m amazed it doesn’t cause a kernel panic)… and we’re on to sector wipe number three.

So, if you’re wondering why our battle-tested review of the Mogul isn’t out yet, you can thank a friendly guy named Murphy… and his pesky law.
