Surprise, WordPress 2.5

We’re deploying WordPress 2.5 on PhoneNews.com right now. Yes, during CTIA, over EV-DO Rev A. I know, we said we weren’t going to… but 2.5 testing was quick, problem-free, and showed some nice improvements that will make CTIA coverage look even better.

So, we’ll be doing that, posting a quick photo gallery, and prepping for tomorrow.

Update: Off-site backup is taking awhile… we’ll have an expanded photo gallery up midnight-ish.

Update 2: WordPress 2.5 is now deployed site-wide. The new gallery system works as expected, but it did alter how we will be covering the show. You’ll be seeing a gallery for each booth, starting tomorrow right after we finish one more sweep of the booths… and a couple of interviews. Stay tuned, it will be worth the wait! And of course, the news never stops…
