The comment software unfortunately still doesn’t work. Some of the code changes have caused the comment software to break. Worst, one of my own suggestions to resolve the hole didn’t get implemented, and now we’ve stumbled over the lack of that fix being put into place.

My apologizes, our ongoing issue with comment posting on the news (along with my iPhone being dead-in-the-water for web access) has hindered our operations more than I expected.

PhoneNews.com is currently suffering from extremely high server loads. Our servers are being overloaded, and we have technicians looking into it right now. Last night, we ran into a bug with our comment system. We contacted the team that writes that piece of software, and they’ve sent us a fix. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to test it until tonight, and thus, cannot put up a new giveaway until that has been done.
