The (Not So) Dreaded NoFollow

We’ve had to turn rel=nofollow on, on our site’s comments from users. This means, you won’t get any more credit in the PageRank game for plugging your web site in our comments. Sorry. You can thank the number of spammers… but it is a good sign of our growth. People (humans, not bots) are actually spamming us on a daily basis. All we can say is… cool.

Yes, we’re still reviewing and deleting those comments as they appear. This is just a safeguard in case web crawlers grab those links and demerit us for having them… before we can shoot them down.
