Tired is an Understatement…

The past three days have caused more six-hour sleep cycles than I want to keep track of, being mildly & perpetually tired hasn’t been fun. But, it’s all for a good cause, PhoneNews.com is finally using a 21st-century publishing platform.

Just a little update for everyone on where things stand; I’ve decided to go ahead and write 301 redirects for all the old Joomla content. That’s more than 1,300 articles… not fun to do. That’s a third of the way done.

We still have to go back and re-categorize and tag all the old articles, work on that will begin later today.

Finally, the new look and feel is coded, but needs some more bug testing and review. Work on that will begin Monday, for deployment later in the week.

In short, everything should be back up and running in time for live, on-site Macworld Expo coverage. And, of course, we’ll be covering CES as well during the relaunching.
