Users, Logins, and You

While right now it doesn’t appear very necessary, we are using a unified login system between Joomla and IP.Board. This was used for when we required you to be registered to post comments… which we no longer require

Thanks to our forward-looking approach to code, the transition to WordPress will not affect you, and you shouldn’t need to do any re-registering. Your account on the forums will continue to work as it always has.

Moving ahead, we are currently taking a look at IP.Converge code to deploy a unified login across the news, forums, and our Phone Encyclopedia. While IP.Converge is new, we think it will have a bright future as soon as developers start writing code adaptations for platforms to plug into it.
