Welcome to the newest version of the PhoneNews.com Blog, now powered by WordPress. This migration is part of our planned shift from the Joomla content management system to WordPress for all reporting on PhoneNews.com

Because of this, there are several things to note:

* The look-and-feel currently on the blog is temporary. It is a placeholder until our new look-and-feel is completed.
* Old links will no longer work. You will be taken to an article, but it will not be the correct article using old links. This was made due to technical limitations, but also to allow older links to continue working for search engines (this way, we do not have any 404’s or duplicate content). Unfortunately, existing articles/sites linking to a specific article on PhoneNews.com will need to be updated.
* Older versions of the site (PHP-Nuke, etc) have been removed.
* You do not need to re-subscribe to our RSS feed. Our syndicator, FeedBurner, is currently updating things and you will get the new feed automatically. Older feed URLs (even back from 2003) should also update automatically.
* Old articles will have a “continue reading” link, even if there is nothing additional to read. This is a side-effect of the articles being migrated from Joomla.

We thank you for putting up with this during the transition. PhoneNews.com’s news-side of things will be updated next month. The reason for the time gap is because we want to make sure things will be seamless. Most of the above will also apply to PhoneNews.com News, however, the new look-and-feel will be fully deployed by then.
