Winter Woes

The first half of December is a bad time for PhoneNews.com, and this year is no exception.

I, unfortunately, have to be away for a week… which means you won’t be seeing much from me except for new giveaways. Yes, today’s giveaway had to be delayed… see last sentence.

Adding injury to injury, Humberto Saabedra has resigned recently. That leaves Elijah Nicolas as our only writer for the next week. And, unfortunately, I haven’t been able to give him the training necessary to do the top-notch job you’ve come to expect.

We also haven’t been able to review new writers, due to the WordPress transition set for the second half of this month. So, needless to say, things look bad, and they are.

PhoneNews.com will limp along for the next week until I can get back to working on it, hiring new people, and training the new staff that has just been hired. I sincerely apologize for this unprofessional level of quality… there is nothing I can do about it until next week.

My personal goal after our WordPress transition is complete, is to greatly expand the staff of PhoneNews.com. We hope to have a staff of six writers, at least six forum moderators, and two Phone Encyclopedia managers. Hopefully, with this very-expanded staff, I won’t have to make this kind of post again.
