CES: Huawei Shows Off Touch CDMA Phone, WiMAX

dsc01842Huawei is showing off a phone at CES that appears to give regional carriers, such as MetroPCS, one of their first touch-screen non-smartphones. The C7500 was programmed for China Mobile, but PhoneNews.com did a bit of digging and found American band-type and carrier support being loaded into the phone already.

Don Louie, I think you mis-read the article. The phone featured is a touch CDMA phone. It does not have WiMAX. We also photographed WiMAX data cards featured at the show from Huawei.
