CTIA: BlackBerry Curve for Sprint Network Announced

Just a couple of weeks ago, pictures of the still unannounced Sprint BlackBerry Curve were released but today Sprint makes it official. The BlackBerry Curve 8330 is the smallest RIM device that features a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS navigation, and a 2MP camera with video recording. Also included with the Curve is the advanced media player that allows users to play music, videos and photos thus further catering to the consumer market its aimed for.

Sprint subscribers will also be able to take advantage of the Sprint Music Store, Sprint TV, Pocket Express and Sprint Navigation.Specifications include:

  • A Sleek, thin design with trackball navigation, full-QWERTY keyboard and soft-touch sides
  • TFT display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution
  • Measurements 4.2″ x 2.4″ x 0.6″ and weighs 4.0 ounces.
  • Pre-installed 1GB microSD card expandable to supporting up to 8GB
  • CDMA 1xRTT / EV-DO Rev. 0
  • GPS and built-in Bluetooth 2.0
  • Speakerphone
  • Voice Activated Dialing
