Samsung A620/VGA1000 Firmware Update Nears Release

Sprint is finally about to release an update to the Samsung A620/VGA1000. The update, currently version WL15 will fix some bugs that cause the phone to be power cycled in order to open the web browser, and hopefully fix some audible beeps during voice calls (Sprint has referred to both as “known issues”).

Bitpim Now Supports Sanyo 4900/5300/8100 *Updated*

LG VI5255 & Audiovox 8450/VI600 Unveiled

LG has shown for the first time their upcoming mid-range handheld for Sprint, the VI5255. This appears to be the VI1225 under a new model name. Also, Audiovox showed for the first time a new black version of the 8450, which will be sold as the VI600.
