It appears that a large amount of SonyEricsson T608s may be defective. Running the Real Time Clock service test (Dial ##786 > Menu Key > Add Number > Menu Softkey > Service Screen > Service Tests > Real Time Clock) shows that the T608 fails… a lot. Multiple T608s tested have shown the [...]

Looks like AT&T is out to give customers a headache. In an analyst meeting AT&T expressed interest in becoming a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) once they receive the AT&T Wireless brand name back from AT&T Wireless (which they lose upon merging with Cingular, as the AT&T Wireless name is under lease).

Update: Follow-up information that has been reported from sources shows that the 6225 probably has not been changed, and will maintain its original look. However it now appears that Sprint may release a version of the Nokia 3200.

For the first time, AT&T is offering both the Siemens S46 and the GAIT SonyEricsson T62u online, at the same time. Each has its pros and cons, but it’s good to see AT&T continuing to sell multiband phones, especially online.

The Motorola V60v is in-fact the color phone that we previously reported on, and is still planned for an in-store release. However, Vision services have been removed from it. Update 2: Apparently to qualify you simply need to use the T68i, you don’t even need to have the IMEI swapped on the account to get the T226 upgraded. Just drop the SIM in your old T68i and if you qualify you will get a letter in the mail.
