Sprint Download Page Revised

Sprint has finally done a much-needed overhaul to their Software Download page. It has been integrated into the business portion of their site.
Unfortunately, the new page’s JavaScript has major problems with Apple’s Safari browser, file detail descriptions do not load.

PM-8200 & VM-A680 Officially Online

Both the Sanyo PM-8200 and Samsung VM-A680 have landed on Sprint’s main product page. The VM-A680 can be ordered online, but the PM-8200 requires a call to TeleSales to order.

Outrage: Sprint Changes All Plan Addons to Require Re-Comitment

Got Sprint? Have a one-year agreement? Better make any changes to your plan (addon-wise) that you want quickly. Cruznis300 reports that starting on April 25th, you will have to re-comit to your one year agreement starting from the date the plan addon take effect.
This affects all addons, such as PCS-to-PCS, Roaming Options, Vision, ReadyLink, [...]

Firmware Updates Update :)

While it is unknown if Sprint will release firmware 1.009SP for the 5500/VM4500, we can confirm that Sprint is now testing version 1.010SP. Changes currently unknown.
Also, Sprint has received firmwares 1.005SP and 1.006SP for the Sanyo RL-7300. Again current changes unknown.

Sanyo 4920 Includes ReadyLink

Internal Sprint docs confirm that the Sanyo 4920 will include ReadyLink. While the 4950 was a 4900 with updated firmware, the 4920 is a more compact, thinner 4900. Below are a couple of pictures from the FCC approval documents cleared earlier this week.
