Sprint: Audiovox PM-8912 Released
Sprint has released the Audiovox PM-8912, like all Audiovox phones, it will be sold under the Sprint brand name. This phone is identical to the Virgin Mobile version (the CDM-8910), except it is for Sprint customers.
The full retail price is $229.99, with the standard $150 rebate for new 2-year agreement.

Sprint Joins WiMax Forum
Sprint has joined the WiMax forum as a “Principle Member”. Sprint cites their development and participation in the IEEE 802.16 standard, of which Mobile WiMax is a part of (802.16e).
Sprint states that this is a move in support of the “infastructure goals” of the WiMax forum. Does this mean Sprint will deploy WiMax? [...]
Apple Deploys Bluetooth 2.0
Apple as we previously stated has launched Bluetooth 2.0. Supporting EDR (Enhanced Data Rates), the new PowerBook G4 series can support the theoretical maximum transmission rate of EV-DO, at three megabits per second (EV-DO’s theoretical maximum is 2.4 Mbps).
