Update: Following our breaking coverage, Sprint has announced the MM-8300 to the public. The full retail price is $299.99, and Sprint expects the phone to be in all channels around July 11th.

US Unwired has filed an injunction against Sprint to block the Sprint Nextel merger. US Unwired cites their exclusive ability to market the Sprint name. Sources have also confirmed that Sprint is testing an update for the LG MM-535. It is not known what at this time what this update changes.

Sprint has released the LG PM-225. As we originally reported to the world, this is a lower-cost version of the LG PM-325, adding a flip-phone form factor, but lacks Bluetooth technology. The full retail price is $219.99.

Sources have confirmed Sprint is testing a new firmware update for the LG PM-325. It is not known at this time what the update fixes.

While Cingular bills it as a replacement program, they have partnered with LG to replace all LG 1300 antennas for current owners. By visiting the replacement web site linked below, LG 1300 owners will be sent a new antenna that is designed to improve antenna performance.
