Verizon: Motorola E815 Firmware Update Coming Next Month

Cingular Launches Sony Ericsson Z520a

Cingular has begun to fully launch the Z520a. The replacement for the popular mid-range Z500a has many improvements, but trades Class 10 EDGE for Bluetooth and IR. The Z500a was the only mid-range Sony Ericsson phone to feature EDGE. The device is $69.99 after rebate with new 2-year agreement.

Cingular UMTS Handset Lineup Revealed

We can now confirm the Cingular handset launch lineup for their UMTS consumer launch. The Nokia N80 and 6282 will be complimented with the LG CU230 and Samsung ZX10. This will deliver four UMTS handsets covering mid-to-high end ranges by the end of the year.
