Cingular Wireless this morning launched the Motorola SLVR L7. Cingular’s version of the L7 will include iTunes software (with 100 song limit), and 512 MB Micro SD card. The L7 is Motorola’s thinnest phone ever released in the US; thinner than the V3 RAZR. The phone is $199.99 with a new two-year agreement.

Palm has issued a new updater for the Sprint version of the Treo 650. The 1.13 Updater incorporates the previous standalone E911 firmware update, as well as improves memory performance with background applications. It is recommended that all Sprint Treo 650 owners install this update.

Sprint has issued firmware ZA06 for the Samsung MM-A900. This update improves and fixes issues with Bluetooth and Picture Mail. It is a high-priority update; Sprint suggests all A900 owners install this update. To update your A900, go to Menu > Settings > Others > Update Phone Software.

Palm has issued firmware update 1.20 for the GSM unbranded version of the Treo 650. This update brings the unlocked version of the Treo 650 in-sync with updates released for other carriers.
