Palm Releases Treo 680 Update for AT&T Cingular Units
Palm has issued a firmware update for the Treo 680. The update incorporates previous software updates, as well as providing other minor updates. The update also replaces Cingular’s branding with the new AT&T brand.
The update changes the following:
• Improved power management for better battery life;
• Camera update for better battery life;

The first draft images of the Sanyo SCP-6650 have appeared through the FCC.

Nokia Files (Another) Response and Claim Against Qualcomm
The storm of litigation continues as Nokia has filed another response
and counterclaims against Qualcomm in in the state of Wisconsin
regarding its lawsuit filed on April 2nd of this year alleging patent
infringement regarding two key Qualcomm patents, asserting that the
patents in question are invalid.

Pandora Launches Pandora Everywhere on Sprint
The internet music streaming service Pandora has launched a mobile
client and service on Sprint.
The service called Pandora Everywhere is made up of a Java client that
is downloaded to a compatible phone.
Currently the only phones supported are the Samsung A900/A920, LG
Fusic, and Sanyo MM7500/MM8400. Future models will include the Samsung

AT&T Launches Sierra Wireless 875U Modem for Consumers
AT&T has launched the Sierra Wireless 875U AirCard USB Modem on
their consumer page. The modem originally launched on May 7th
but was only available to business customers.
The modem features quadband GPRS/EDGE support
(850/900/1800/1900) and triband W-CDMA support (UMTS/HSDPA
850/1900/2100) with status lights and an internal battery.
The modem is supported under Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS X support
