FCC Reveals Verizon Motorola Z6tv

The FCC has unveiled the first pictures of Verizon’s version of the
Motorola Z6 multimedia
slider, the Z6tv.
The phone is similar to the soon to be released Sprint
Z6m with Bluetooth 2.0,
A2DP stereo audio support, microSD expansion, miniUSB 2.0 port, and

Sierra Wireless Announces 597E ExpressCard for Sprint

Sierra Wireless has announced in a press release that they will release
their first ExpressCard EVDO Rev. A modem for Sprint in the middle of
June.

The Sierra Wireless 597E features A-GPS support through Sprint
Connection Manager, a durable antenna design to maximize signal

Qwest Launches EVDO Rev. A Service

Qwest has announced that it has launched its own branded
EVDO Rev. A service using Sprint’s network.
The service, called Qwest
Mobile Broadband is being offered in three tiers: 500MB at
$69.99 and Unlimited access at $79.99 per month with a 600MB
plan also available with a UTStarcom 5750 connection card.

Sprint Details WiMax Launch Plans

Through a press release detailing continued network improvements,
Sprint has announced a commercial launch of their WiMax service in the
second quarter of 2008. This falls inline with prior statements from
