Verizon Completes EV-DO Rev A Upgrade

Verizon Wireless has announced that they have completely updated their EV-DO data network to Revision A. The upgrade focuses on upload speed improvements, necessary for features such as Video Calling, but also helps with wireless broadband service in general. The upgrade also increases the maximum burst rate of the network to 3.1 megabits.

Sprint Updates Motorola ic902 with New Firmware

Users are reporting that Sprint has issued a new firmware update for the Motorola ic902. It is not clear what substantive changes have been made in the update, however, users report that the update does add Sprint Navigation as a built-in application to the phone.

Verizon Offers Reduced Price BroadbandAccess

Verizon is now offering BroadBandAccess service at a reduced price
without an existing account required.

Previously if a potential customer wanted BroadBandAccess service at
$59.99 a month, an already existing Verizon Wireless account with voice

T-Mobile Officially Launches HotSpot @Home

Sprint has officially announced the LG LX570 as the LG MUZIQ.

Sprint Updates RAZR, KRZR, & SLVR Firmware (Updated)

Sprint has issued new firmware updates for the Motorola V3m RAZR and K1m KRZR. The new firmware version stands at 24.2_00.48.01P, but Sprint states only that the update adds “performance improvements”.
