The FCC has revealed an as yet unannounced clamshell in the nascent VE series with support for the CDMA AWS band for use on regional carriers MetroPCS and Cricket.
The phone will be available in a standard dual-band CDMA configuration for major carriers as well as a triband CDMA version for Cricket and MetroPCS. Â The featureset consists of an external touch sensitive display with haptic feedback, external media player controls, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, microSDHC expansion slot, and a camera of uknown resolution.
Neither MetroPCS nor Cricket have announced plans to carry the phone.
