FCC Reveals U940 for Verizon, Possibly Sprint
The FCC has revealed the CDMA version of the Ultra Edition F700 smart device. The U940 is a horizontal slider with EVDO, a QVGA landscape display, microSD expansion slot, 2 megapixel camera down from the 5 megapixel autofocus unit found on the GSM version, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, and QWERTY keyboard.
The documents also mention compatibility with Sprint’s Power Vision network, though neither carrier has officially confirmed the device despite documents such as the truncated user manual referring to both carriers.
