I just bought a samsung reality and i have had it for a week. I havent gotten it wet or dropped it. I was texting while all of the sudden my phone powered off. iit powered back on, and it wouldnt turn all the way on it stayed on the verizon logo power up page. now it just keeps blinking, and i have taken the batery out, waitet, put it back in, and it still wont work. PLEASE HELP

I’m about to get the Samsung Reality in a couple of weeks, so i decided to see what features it has. I also decided to read some of the reviews for that phone, and one of them said it was a great phone but he was a little disappointed with the text messaging. You can text of course, but it doesn’t separate the sent messages from the received ones. Sometimes the reviews that they put up are completely fake, but I’m not sure if this guy was telling the truth. Does the Reality really do that?

Really because I hate flip phones i like slider because if i want to reply to a text i don’t have to take time to open it i can just slide it up with my finger. i like the slider sooooooooooooooooooo much better!

I just got a ‘reality’ a couple of weeks ago but now i have some questions:

1- I download some songs from my computer to the cell phone and I want to put’ em as ringtones but i can’t… anyone know how to do it?

2- And I want to put a “call ton” or “ringback tone” (I am not sure how is that call) but I don’t how to do it either… I thought I download one from the verizon website but didn’t work, actually it went my husband’s phone and actually is not the song i bought.. uncided.

I post these questions on http://www.samsung-reality.com but no answers.

If anyone can help me with that I will really appreciate it…

I think that a new slider phone is exactly what we need. They know there are millions of people who are out there that want a new slider phone/touchscreen. As a customer service rep for verizon wireless… I have seen many of the samsung saga phones returned with many problems along with most lg phones, excluding the chocolate and the envy2/envy3.

You may not need “another slider,” but there are millions of customers out there who might. I happen to think HTC phones are anything but “crappy aesthetics” and Nokia, Motorola, Sony and Casio are playing catch-up with no chance of ever catching up. Obviously our opinions differ — that’s why there’s chocolate and vanilla. But understand that Big Red didn’t get to where it is by NOT researching the desires and needs of its customer base. The big problem here may be Apple, which has been bullying most of the other guys with lawsuits that try and limit their designs and feature lists. Hopefully all that will end soon and Verizon will leap lightyears ahead in the coming months with high-quality, feature-packed devices that appeal to a broad spectrum of customers. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Well said. Why do we need another slider phone.

How about an updated version of the Samsung Saga?? If you’re going to go Samsung, at least put something in your lineup that doesn’t just duplicate what you already have. And put a freaking 320×320 screen on it.

That sucks that its going to be another slider phone….Samsung’s whole line seems to be low quality slider phones…..The fact that Verizon is allowing Samsung so much girth in their line up is really a bummer for a Verizon customer who would like a decent device selection…..Between the crappy aesthetics of the HTC phones and the cheap feel of the Samsung phones….It’s getting really old being a customer of Big Red.

A good consultant should tell Verizon to start stoking their relationships with Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, and even Casio but this need to populate their line up with cheap filler phones is gonna hurt them, even if they do land the LTE iPhone…..Not everyone wants a smartphone, but we don’t want our regular phones to be plastic pieces of crap either.
