I just received a letter from sprint informing me that as of Dec. 31, 2009. My 2G service will be discontinued. They are asking me to get a new phone that supports 3g. I currently have a samsung instinct. I am very confused I though my instinct was a 3g phone. Can some one help clarify this for me. I thought that it was their way to have me renew my contract but they are saying in the letter that I do not have to renew my contract. Something I also find odd is that I also have a Palm Centro and Blackberry Perl 8130 on the same line but they are only asking me to change my Instict phone. Does any one know what going and is willing to give more details. Thanks.
