Did my wife Palm Centro have the Google my location(or something like this) last year this time before the iPhone? Wow.

Ken, you’re referring to the My Location feature inside of Google Maps. iPhone has had this feature since iPhone OS 2.0.

The new feature that Google is offering on iPhone, is the ability for the Google web site to interact with the location data from the iPhone. Apple added APIs in iPhone OS 3.0 that enable standard web sites to access GPS data, and perform GPS-based search queries, without needing access to the App Store.
