Continuing its recent trend of releasing new variants of its Desire mid-range smartphone series, HTC has announced its latest Desire variant in the 510, which will be the first Desire smartphone to feature 4G LTE access. The Desire features a 4.7-inch 854×480 resolution display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and supports microSD cards up to 128GB. The main camera captures 5-megapixels, and the user-facing camera captures at VGA resolution. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and DLNA support for sharing media. The 510 runs Android 4.4 KitKat and includes HTC Sense and Blinkfeed software along with support for its own version of the HTC Dot View case for notification support.
