HTC G2 Surfaces

The first images of a new HTC Android handset have surfaced.

Known coloquially as the G2, the handset is a variant of the Dream/G1 device which features a larger screen and 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, with the main difference being the elimination of the hardware keyboard found on the G1.  The device is planned for a preliminary launch window around May of this year which is contingent on the resolution of software issues found within  Android test versions related to feature additions and overall platform extensibility.
